NOTICE: REQUIRED FOR NEW YORK CITY – VA courses were developed in conjunction with the NYC DOB to address LL196 online course proctoring requirements. The voice authenticated OSHA courses represent a best practice to ensure the identity of the student throughout the course.

The OSHA 30-Hour Construction Voice Authentication course enables participants to recognize, avoid, abate, and prevent construction workplace safety and health hazards.

Our OSHA 30-Hour Construction Voice Authentication course has been designed for construction workers, management, employers, and individuals with safety responsibilities who work in New York City. Individuals who should take this course include:

  • Workers
  • Foremen
  • Job supervisors
  • All personnel responsible for construction-related projects

This VA course is not designed for construction workers in need of a DOL/OSHA 30-Hour Card outside New York City. 

By taking the OSHA 30-Hour Construction Voice Authentication course, you will become more familiar with major construction site safety hazards, safety programs, and other critical topics. At the same time, completion of this course will prepare you for employment in New York City.

Individuals who satisfactorily complete the course will receive:

  • A certificate of completion that indicates a passing score of 70% or higher
  • Three (3) Continuing Education Units from an accredited IACET provider
  • A valid DOL/OSHA 30-Hour Card

As you complete the course, you’ll have three opportunities to achieve a passing score on the final test. When incorrect answers are provided, you’ll receive immediate feedback to support your next attempt.

All course participants must complete 30 hours of online training within six months of the course start date, and the course evaluation must be completed to receive a certificate.

DOL/OSHA 30-Hour Cards typically arrive within six to eight weeks of course completion. We make acquiring your card easy by recording your score and submitting reports of successful course completions to OSHA and the DOL. All DOL/OSHA Cards are sent to us for signing, then delivered directly to you via mail.
